New Gear | Osprey Poco Family | Fall 2024
Osprey’s Poco Family has long been the standard for child carriers. Of course a company obsessed with fit and carry comfort makes a pack that makes carrying your child a breeze, but the multitude of family-friendly features continue to push and elevate the category. New for Fall 2024, Osprey has continued to expand upon the Poco line with the introduction of 2 new child carriers, as well as new Changing Packs for parents on the run who may need to carry plenty of baby gear, but not their child.
Poco Changing Packs
New for 2024 are the Poco Changing Packs. Available in both a hybrid Tote Pack and standard Backpack style, both packs share an impressive set of features. Both packs have plenty of pockets and built-in organization for diapers and snacks, external water bottle pockets, an external insulated bottle pocket, and interior laptop/hydration/clothes sleeves. Truly built for families on the go, they also include portable, removable diaper changing pads, making changing on the go easier and more sanitary. Changing Pads are also available as standalone items, perfect for adding one to a child carrier.
Poco Premium
A new, premium child carrier, the aptly-named Poco Premium has the same comfortable carry featured on Osprey’s backpacking packs. An AirSpeed backpanel delivers unmatched breathability, while Fit-on-the-Fly hipbelts and 6-inches of torso adjustment mean you get the perfect fit. Comfort isn’t just for the parents though, as the child cockpit is fully framed and padded, features stirrups so the child can lift themselves up to reduce sores, and a fully removable, washable cockpit to handle spills, crumbs, and blowouts.
In addition to unmatched comfort for both parents and children, the Premium has more storage space than any other Poco, making it ideal for long hikes or big days on the town.
poco slt
Another new carrier, the Poco SLT is lightweight and provides all the necessities you expect from an Osprey carrier. Sharing the same frame as the Poco LT, the SLT folds down flatter than the larger packs, making it ideal for parents who are short on space or travel frequently. The SLT also utilizes the AirScape backpanel, capable of handling heavy weights while remaining breathable and comfortable. To keep this pack to the essentials, the SLT does forgo foot stirrups and the sunshade found on other packs, but is compatible with the LT Sunshade.
