New for Fall 2023 | Sojourn Collection from Osprey

All-new for Fall 2023 is the Sojourn Collection from Osprey. Combining multiple previously-existing product lines and combining them into a seamless, functional, and durable series of luggage that will work for any outdoor adventure. Combining the best of the outgoing Porter, Shuttle, and Sojourn collections, the end result is a collection of travel bags that can withstand the test of time and some shared features that never go out of style.

Shared Features

Travel Sentry ID

Featured on the Ozone Family since their launch, the Sojourn Family is the next to receive Travel Sentry ID protection. In short, Travel Sentry ID provides a service similar to keeping an AirTag in your bag, with one big difference. Instead of you finding your luggage in an airport, and having to call and try and get it moved, Travel Sentry provides a unique identifier for every bag and facilitates your bag’s return with lost and found offices around the world. Straightjacket Compression

A long-standing feature on the previous Porter and Shuttle lines, StraightJacket compression straps and padded sidewalls make each bag even more versatile. Naturally, compression straps help keep your gear from moving around when packed but adding the sidewalls helps reduce the volume of the pack, allowing you to underfill a bag and still have a super functional piece of travel gear. Owning a 70L bag doesn’t mean you always need to fill it to the brim, it can be just as effective for long weekends with 50L of gear inside as it is when loaded up.

Sustainable and durable build

As part of the design updates come material updates as well. The entire Sojourn Family uses bluesign® approved and recycled fabrics throughout the bags and includes PFAS-Free DWRs on the exterior of the packs. All of these fabrics are also GRS-certified, which is a voluntary, third-party program, that checks and verifies recycled claims throughout the supply chain, ensuring the fabrics truly are coming from recycled sources.

Sojourn Shuttle

The spiritual successor to the Shuttle Family is the Sojourn Shuttle. Built to be extremely rugged gear haulers that can travel the world time and time again, the Sojourn Shuttle come in heavy-duty 130L, 110L, and 40L capacities. Featuring the High Road Chassis, the Sojourn Shuttle bags have a slight concave in the bottom to clear rocks and uneven streets with ease. Pair that with 110mm wheels on the larger sizes, and 90mm wheels on the 40L, and you have travel bags that can handle dirt roads and paths as easily as airport lounges. The 130L and 110L bags feature external-access boot bins, so you can keep ski boots and muddy clothes separate from the rest of your gear. The 40L pack is also international carry-on size (always double check your specific airline), making it great for quick getaways.

The outgoing Shuttle bags are what we have used for years as an agency to carry samples of ski boots, camping equipment, and bags inside bags for years, and we can attest to the longevity and lasting ability of these bags.

Sojourn

The redesigned Sojourn bags are the most-versatile of the family. Featuring the same High Road chassis and oversized wheels as the Sojourn Shuttles, the Sojourn bags also add a stowable backpack harness and hipbelt. This makes it easy to travel with the bags any way you’d like and uses the same AirScape technology found throughout the Osprey lineup. Available in 80-, 60-, and 45-liter sizes, the Sojourn bags are travel staples.

Sojourn Porter

The next generation of the timeless Porter packs, the Sojourn Porter ditches the wheels seen in the other packs in favor of the full stowaway harness and duffle-style carry. This makes it a fantastic travel piece when you just want to bring one bag. The 65L option now also features an external access boot bin, making it an ideal travel companion on ski trips as well. The Sojourn Porters also include add-a-bag straps, connecting them to other Osprey wheeled luggage so you can create your perfect travel system.
