Meet Summit Sales' Newest Team Member - Brendan Michell

We are excited welcome Brendan to the team as our new Digital Content and Merchandising Specialist. He brings a deep understanding of digital marketing and experience in the outdoor industry to the table. His involvement in both brick & mortar specialty retail and ecommerce will be a huge asset to our team and our partners. Get to know Brendan a little bit better in the interview below.

Where are you from?

I’m from Commerce Township, Michigan, about 45 minutes from Detroit

What were you doing prior to joining Summit Sales?

Prior to joining I was managing E-Commerce at University Book Store for 2 years, and before that I was the Brand Manager at Summit Sports in Michigan.

Outside of work, what is your activity of choice?

Depends on the season, but skiing in the winter or mountain biking in the summer.

Favorite snack to eat while playing in the outdoors?

Dried mango slices! The Trader Joe ones preferably, but the Whole Foods ones are a good alternative.

Any upcoming adventures?

Nothing in particular! Looking forward to spending some more time in the backcountry this winter, and trying some climbing with the crew!
