PCT Days and Upcoming Events

We recently had the pleasure of attending PCT Days in beautiful Cascade Locks, OR with SCARPA and The Landmark Project. PCT Days attracts local outdoor enthusiasts, section hikers, as well as past and present PCT hikers. We lucked out on weather and simply learned to appreciate the iconic steady breeze of the Gorge.

Since it was SCARPA’s first year at the event, our goal was to expand brand awareness and get shoes on people’s feet with demos! We spent Friday building enthusiasm for SCARPA trail shoes and got 15 people to demo a mix of Spin Infinities and Spin 2.0’s to join us for a casual early morning trail run to Dry Creek Falls.

In addition to the PCT Days event wide raffle event, participants who joined us for the group run had the chance to win a free pair of SCARPA trail shoes! Overall the event was a major hit and we are looking forward to expanding upon it in the future.

Although Fall might not be bringing the type of “normal” lifestyle return that we were hoping for we are still going to be doing our best to be present at in person events safely. The Craggin’ Classic at Smith Rock will be our next big event happening the first weekend of October. Hope to see you there!
