Our Newest Vendor Partner : Norrøna

Having the privilege of working with some of the best companies in the outdoor industry, we’ve seen firsthand how product innovation and a commitment to quality are the bedrock of successful brands. We have also seen that good product isn’t enough. Customers demand responsibly produced products that deliver value over time.

That is why we are proud to introduce Norrøna as our newest brand partner. Founded in 1929, Norrøna is an independently owned fourth generation manufacturer that started with the simple goal of producing the best outdoor equipment.

Today, at their headquarters in Oslo, Norway, Norrøna designs, prototypes, tests, and sources the highest quality outdoor apparel and accessories available. Their inhouse design and testing processes help them deliver products that are “Loaded with Minimalism” and stand up to the rigors of use.

Many of the buyers and staff that we work with are already fans of Norrøna and have chosen the brand for their own outdoor and ski apparel outfits.

We can’t wait to begin sharing the Norrøna story with more retailers and outdoor enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest!

Norrøna has a full in-house production facility to build prototypes using the same fabrics, materials, and production methods as the finished products. This allows them to test new designs and new fabrics to be sure that they hold up to use in the field before they go to mass production.

The in-house production facility not only makes prototypes, but also provides customer repairs. By repairing these products they learn more about how to make products last longer and help customers keep using them rather than sending to a landfill.

To further their mission of sustainability, Norrona is continually testing fabrics to find those that last the longest and have the smallest environmental impact. Combining long lasting fabrics with timeless styling allows customers to use and enjoy a product for as long as possible.
